What Happens Before Dispatch
Before any order leaves our workshop on Abbeydale Road, someone on the team opens the box, checks the contents against the packing slip, and looks over stitching and surfaces for anything that shouldn't have passed our earlier checks.
What We're Actually Checking For
For mats, that means checking the surface for an even texture with no thin patches and confirming the edges are properly sealed. For bands and straps, it means pulling on the stitched seams and checking the buckle or clip moves freely without catching.
- Quality check: stitching, surface texture and fittings are checked by hand against a short list before packing.
- Traceability: each batch of rubber and webbing is logged against the supplier it came from.
Why This Matters for Daily Use
A mat with an uneven surface or a band with a loose stitch might not show a problem on day one, but it tends to fail exactly when you're relying on it most, mid-session. Checking before dispatch rather than after a complaint is simply less hassle for everyone involved.
