Founding Story & Commitment to Honest Gear

Stanedge started because our founder kept replacing resistance bands and mats that fell apart within a few months, bought from the same handful of mass import listings everyone else was also buying from, with no real information about what was actually in them.

We now work directly with a small number of rubber and webbing producers, buy in modest batches rather than huge bulk runs, and check every order by hand before it leaves our Sheffield workshop rather than relying on the supplier's own quality control.

Pricing is kept straightforward because we sell directly rather than through a chain of retail markups, orders go out with a tracking number attached, and we take responsibility for anything that arrives faulty rather than pointing customers back to a manufacturer overseas.

Why Customers Choose Us

1

Workshop-Checked Orders

Every order is opened and checked against its packing slip before it leaves our Sheffield workshop.

2

Honest Material Sourcing

We name the actual rubber, foam and cotton grades we use, not vague marketing terms.

3

Small Team, Direct Contact

Questions go to the people who actually pack your order, not a call centre script.

4

Built For Repeat Use

Our gear is chosen to survive months of regular training rather than a single season.

5

Straightforward Returns

Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery, no complications.

6

Local Roots, Direct Pricing

Based on Abbeydale Road in Sheffield, we sell directly rather than through a chain of retail markups.

We test every new batch of mats and bands ourselves on the gym floor before we agree to sell it under our name.

How We Keep Standards Consistent

We buy from a small, known set of material suppliers rather than switching sources to chase the lowest price, and every order is opened and checked by hand before it's packed for dispatch.

Material Honesty

We list the actual rubber, foam and cotton grades used in each product rather than vague marketing language. If a material changes between batches, the listing is updated to match.

Direct Accountability

Questions and problems come straight to our team rather than a call centre, and we take responsibility for sorting them out ourselves.

Built To Be Used Often

We choose gear meant for frequent, ordinary training sessions rather than for looking good once in a product photo.

We set out to make fitness gear honest enough to trust and tough enough to last through years of ordinary training. Every product we sell is one we use ourselves, checked by hand before it reaches your door.
